Please come join us for a relaxing, creative time where you can hone your artistic skills.   You will tap into your inner artist and create art that speaks to your own personal inspiration and imagination. Gather your friends, both old and new, family or colleagues to spend quality time and have a fun-filled time learning, laughing and getting your hands dirty (with color) with art!  Everyone will leave with new skills and a one-of-a-kind creation to take home to keep the memory alive.

  • Who is the instructor? Tracy Pospeck, Destination Art Owner & Artistic Director

  • Do you need to have prior experience? Classes are designed for beginners, intermediate and advanced level artists.   

  • Where can we hold a class? Classes can be brought to you in the privacy of your own home or community in the boroughs of New York and also Southwest Florida

  • How many people do we need for a class? There is a minimum of 3 people per class.

  • What types of classes are offered? We have a range of classes, check out our detailed descriptions below to see what’s right for you and your group!

  • Who classes are for: If your association has a formal art group or club, or you just want to have an afternoon of fun mucking about with some art mediums, or you are looking for a unique experience to bring co-workers together I am your gal! 

  • What we will need: a work space, electrical outlets and a water source.

  • What will we do: With the classes I offer we explore using different art mediums such as molding paste, acrylic paint, collage papers and elements, mediums, inks, gesso, stencils, paint pens and more. If you are unfamiliar with the characteristics of these mediums you’ll be taught this in a fun, professional and stress free manner.

Going in Circles: Approximately 5 to 6 hours, $85

Join Tracy for a fun filled day that will open your imagination and inner artist to the exciting world of abstract art. By using several different mediums such as molding paste, acrylic paint, acrylic paint pens, Gesso, stencils and more, you will learn to use layering and shadowing to create depth in your art.

Horizon Line Abstracts: up to 3.5 hours, $65

In this mixed media class Tracy will introduce you to the rule of thirds and creating a horizon line in your artwork.  You will enjoy using light molding paste, acrylic paints, chalk, Gesso and other ephemera such as tissue paper, string, ribbon, cheese cloth, etc.  You will walk away with a project that can be mounted on a wood canvas. You will be given information on where to purchase a wood canvas at the end of class.

Horizon Line Abstracts for kids (Appropriate for ages 8 and above): up to 3.5 hours, $65

In this mixed media class Tracy will introduce kids to the rule of thirds and creating a horizon line in their artwork. Bright colors will be available in neon and fluorescents which all kids love! They will enjoy using light molding paste, acrylic paints, chalk, Gesso and other items such as tissue paper, comics, string, ribbon, cheese cloth, etc. They will walk away with a project that can be hung on their wall!

Adult Collage Bootcamp (Also available for children 8 and above): 3 hours, $65

This fun filled class goes over a plethora of collage techniques. The motto of this class is that there is no wrong! You’ll learn about different art supplies, using a primary focal point, and most of all you will learn just how much fun it is to tear, cut and paste just like when you were a child! Glitter, mica, paint, pens, paper, fabric, lace, doilies! Who knew that you could use all of these items in a single piece of artwork! You are asked to look through magazines, old books or old pictures and tear out images that you might find interesting to use for your project. If you have papers that you’d like to share with the rest of the class bring these also. But please don’t worry, if you don’t bring images or paper some will be supplied by Tracy.

Bits and drabs, Tags: 2 hours, $50

Create mixed media tags which can be used as a decorative art piece to add to packages, hang on a wall, place card settings for a party, label items for identification purposes - the uses are endless! You’ll learn about collage, layering, stencils, stamps and using different elements such as magazine pictures, photos, textile materials to name a few.


Follow your Heart2.jpg

Follow your Heart class for kids: Approximately 2 hours, $50

Kids will love creating this fun filled painting using lots and lots of color.  Tracy will guide them in a step by step process so they can leave with a heart of their very own.
