Under the Dock: Intelligence
This vibrant mixed media underwater scene depicts what might be going on under the dock. Candy wrappers, clothing labels, acrylic paint, acrylic inks, Posca Paint Pens, Asian paper, magazine pictures, and, as always, a piece of my son’s homework were used to create this piece. The elaborate octopus was hand painted using a variety of hues of teals, oranges, and browns. Depth was created by adding resin as the final layer of this work of art, also giving it a beautiful glossy finish. This painting is 37.5 inches wide X 25.5 inches in height X 1.25 inches in depth. It is framed in an antique silver/black illusion floater frame.
