How Time Flies
This mixed media piece was created using molding paste and collage elements such as tissue paper, sections from the Wall Street Journal and the New York Times, fabric appliques, silk flowers, photographs, etc. Acrylic paints, washes, and inks provide the brilliant colors. Detail work was completed using a fine line writer. Depth was created by adding resin as the final layer of this work of art, also giving it a beautiful glossy finish. The subject matter is continued onto the sides of the deep canvas, giving interest to all angles of view. The dimensions are 24” W x 48”H x 1.25”D
